🟠 Health care and preparation:

Oxygen is less at higher altitudes. Bad weather and altitude can cause some illnesses that are not normally found in plains. Some of the illnesses include headaches, nausea, lethargy, shortness of breath, general malaise, irritability, loss of balance, disorientation, restlessness, and insomnia. These illnesses can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, and physical fitness.
Once the journey begins, the majestic Himalayas and Tibet envelop the pilgrims in their splendor, and they go beyond the reach of the conventional world. Peace and extraordinary views reign supreme. For a resourceful pilgrim, however, planning is key to enjoying every step of the way.

The route from Kathmandu to Rasuwagadi (Timur) (Nepal-China border) is narrow. But the roads beyond the border are well maintained. The high altitude Tibetan terrain is dry, cold and windy. Nights are colder than days. Heavy rains, strong icy winds are common features. The average altitude is over 3,500 meters and the route involves crossing several high altitude passes.

🔴 Required documents:

Passport valid for at least six months and two passport-sized photographs.

A general health certificate from your personal doctor is required for travelers aged 50 and above.

Anyone who is physically fit and has a strong will can join this pilgrimage. People with heart or respiratory problems should consult their doctor.

Practice morning and evening walking, jogging, stretching, meditation, and regular exercise.

🟠 Food: Delicious continental and Indian food will be served. Breakfast and dinner will be served by trained Nepali staff at the camp site. Packed meals will be provided during the day.

🟠 Pilgrims should bring the following items: As there is a large variation in temperature between day and night (maximum 20 degrees Celsius to minimum minus 16 degrees Celsius), one should prepare accordingly. However, we advise all pilgrims to travel with minimal luggage - maximum 10 to 15 kg per person.

🟠 Travel Insurance: Travel insurance should be taken out for all eventualities like medicine, helicopter evacuation (in case of emergency), loss of personal belongings, deferred expenses for inbound and outbound flights, and trip cancellation.

🟠 Jurisdiction: Pune city judicial area will remain the jurisdiction for all types of complaints and claims.
