Vishwa Mandir Parishad
Worldwide Association of Hindu Temples and Devotees

Vision
The broad purpose of the Vishwa Mandir Parishad is the unification, systematic organization, and mutual cooperation of Indian temples, as well as connecting temples with all sections of society and enlightening the youth. For this, the main principle of the Parishad’s work is to make full use of all available resources, especially communication tools and modern technology. The scope and objectives of the Parishad can be broadly outlined as follows:
1. Organization of Temples: To collect information about all temples and create coordination among them. To classify them by state, district, and taluka. To gather complete details about each temple, including its history, surroundings, special features, current status, facilities, daily programs, festivals, and rituals. To prepare booklets and information brochures, and to ensure this information reaches everyone.
2. Advisory Service Center for Temples: To provide all kinds of assistance to temples as per their requirements. For example, legal and management advice, help in solving difficulties, technical support, etc.
3. E-Temple: To make available information about each temple on websites. To create brochures, build their websites, and enable services like online worship, abhisheka, rituals, annual and permanent offerings. To prepare complete video documentaries of temples and make them freely available for all to watch. To provide online (virtual) darshan and live streaming of festivals. This will greatly promote and publicize temples, connecting them with devotees across geographical boundaries.
4. Financial Assistance: To arrange support for various temple activities and projects, such as renovation, construction of pilgrims’ rest houses, cow shelters, sacred groves, social service activities, auditoriums, free kitchens, and libraries.
5. Devotee Network (Bhava-Bandhan): To create a system for registering devotees who visit temples. To inform them about temple activities and festivals through mobile, email, WhatsApp, etc. To establish a permanent link between temples and devotees.
6. Temple Tourism: To spread information about temples through technology and other media within the country and worldwide. To highlight local traditions, festivals, and activities. To develop temple tourism and temple study tours.

To connect ancient practices and traditions meaningfully with contemporary times and present them to the younger generation. To conduct research on Hindu temples, traditions, and culture. To revive temple culture through study, research, and experimentation.
9. “Toll-Free Temples”: To start a toll-free helpline service for devotees, providing complete information about temples, shrines, and pilgrimage centers, such as how to reach them, ongoing activities, and available facilities.
10. Revival of Traditions: To revive various activities associated with the Hindu religion and culture with the help of technology—for example, kīrtan, discourses, dance, games, birth celebrations, music, drama, and other traditions—and connect them with the youth.
11. Coordination with Temples Abroad: To establish contact with temples in foreign countries. To extend and receive support. To organize visits and pilgrimages.
