Adi Kailas Yatra 2025

May 21 to 30, 2025
An amazing and unforgettable experience of Lord Bholenath

Adi Kailash is considered to be the ancient abode of Lord Shiva. When Ravana came to please Lord Shiva, Lord Shiva was residing in Kailash. There, Ravana performed severe penance for hundreds of years and finally pleased Lord Shiva. He asked Shiva for a boon that he should give him his Atmalinga and come to Lanka permanently. A big problem arose before Lord Shiva. But he had already given the boon. Finally, he made a condition that I will come with you only if you take me to Lanka without keeping my linga on the ground anywhere. Ravana happily agreed. He left with Shiva's Atmalinga. However, on the way, he started urinating a lot. However, he could not keep the Atmalinga down. At that time, Ganesha came there in the form of a small child. He agreed to keep it in his hand for some time. But he told Ravana that if you do not return even after calling him thrice, I will keep this Atmalinga on the ground. Ravana was in a hurry. He handed over the Atmalinga to the boy. The boy held it in his hand for some time. But then he could not bear it anymore, so he called out once, twice. But till then Ravana did not return. So he placed it on the ground. Due to this Ravana was overwhelmed and his dream remained unfulfilled. It is believed that the place where the boy had placed the Atmalinga is now Kailash Mansarovar. The original place of Lord Shiva is Mul Kailash. It is now called Adi Kailash.

Kailash Mahatmya: Every Indian's throat fills with emotion when the name of Kailash is mentioned. Shivshankar Bholenath is the god of all. It is believed that Shivshankar lives in Kailash and this is his playground. It is believed that Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and all other gods, Yakshas, Kinnars, Gandharvas, Apsaras etc. along with Shiva all live in the vicinity of Kailash. There is a wonderful mystery in the name Kailash itself. Kailash Yatra is a journey of self-realization. On the path to Kailash, we are on the path to liberation. One of the attractions of Kailash is that it has remained in the minds of people for thousands of years. There is something special about it, namely the purity, goodness and spiritual energy here. The divine vibrations and divine vibrations around Mount Kailash provide a very high and thrilling experience.
Kailash in India: When we hear the word Kailash, our eyes immediately think of Kailash Mansarovar located in Tibet which was captured by China. But at the same time, there are four Kailash in India which offer equally auspicious and exciting experiences, but not much is known about it. Interestingly, there is also a lake near these four Kailash. The names of these four Kailash in India are 1) Adi Kailash 2) Shrikhand Kailash 3) Mani Mahesh Kailash 4) Kinnar Kailash
In fact, before the 1962 Indo-China war, pilgrims used to travel from India for the Tibet Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The concept of Panch Kailash Yatra has been formed with these five Kailashas. Like Panch Kailash, Panch Badhi, Panch Kedar and Panch Prayag are the most sacred areas in the Himalayas.
